From Philly and now live in Lehigh Valley. Best cheesesteak by far north of Philly and prob top 10 overall. Other sandwiches are great too!

The Italian wedding soup was so good that my kids split a quart and even ate "the green stuff" (which has previously been rejected for seven straight years). I, who had to eat my roast pork sandwich in the car, said aloud "HOLY %#+!" Three times while polishing off the first half. quality ingredients, attention to detail, incredible selection of goodies to go. The desserts look incredible but I haven't yet indulged my better instincts and tried them. The NA spirits and spritz selection is top notch. This is a must-try and repeat again and again.

Meat the SEXY SANDWICHES OF PENNSYLVANIA The PORCHETTA MUFFULETTA - fresh mozz, Porchetta, mortedella, roasted peppers, cherry peppers, and olives SPICY MEATBALL - pork/beef meatballs, broccoli rabe, spicy aioli, parmesan ROASTED ITALIAN BEEF - tender pulled beef, broccoli rabe, sharp provolone .... All on a sesame semolina roll ! I've reviewed this joint when it was formally called Giacomo's but now changed it's name to Mercatino Italiano Quakertown ( kind of has the PRINCE 's "ARTIST FORMALLY KNOWN AS PRINCE" catchiness to it) This joint is a shining beacon of Sandwich perfection in terms of quality , size, and prices . First off, the roll is exceptional. Firm crusty exterior, nice "chew" , and soft insides . The seeded "Philly style" roll gives a strong Sandwich Hand grip with it's easy to hold little bumps, & the seeded part also gives blind people something to read while they eat. To my knowledge, this is the only Muffuletta in the LV , maybe Stravinos has them but I'm not too impressed with their Sandwiches. And without a doubt , this is the greatest meatball sub I have ever devoured in the state. Every bite of each Sandwich had the proper ratio of contents represented and it was packed to the Sandwich gills, but remained in tact to the last bite . Great perks of going here include the OIL & BALSAMIC self serve sample bar ... So you can lube up your Sandwich , as well as knock down a few oily shots . There's also FREE shots of espresso if you order any premise made desserts, which are freaking amazing. These bad boys were washed down with fancy Italian sodas and a side of TENTACLE SALAD. I knew it was gonna be a sexy sensational feast when I had muff, balls, n puss all at the same time on the table. Katrina Purdy n me went 2 days in a row and shared the meatball n muff Sandwiches . The very next day I tried the Italian roast beef for my lunch break. Extra bonus ... Pet Smart is next door so you can go look at kittens and hermit crabs afterwards . Adorable creatures are good for digestion. Keep that SANDWICH HAND STRONG #sandwichpresident

Omg. The food amazing. From the sandwiches, salads, grab-and-go case to the desserts. Wow! Everything in this place is awesome. The only problem I have with them is the extra 3% or so that is added on to your bill if you use a credit card. Isn't that part of the price of doing business? But..... the place is great. And I'll still go. :)

A great specialty market. The owners wanted to replicate an italian market and there are a lot of unique items here. From fresh prepared foods to frozen to bakery to a deli with Italian curd meats. The baked items are amazing! You need to walk in here with a sense of self control. I stopped for a breakfast sandwich and got a piece of ricotta coffee cake as well. I wanted to buy everything in the prepared foods section! The soups and the pasta with sauces looked amazing! I will definitely come back!

I came here with just one item in mind and ended up getting a few, as well as a list of items I want to get next time in. On this day though, the focus was on their Cheesesteak. I had heard from some viewers of my channels that this place had one comparable to Philly and I simply had to find out! So...this was not a lie. I will preface it by saying the price tag on them is a bit steep ($17) but this was just as good as most of the big time players in the Philly area, and it's better than a ton of old school Philly spots that people rave about constantly. The Ribeye was not shredded to nothingness and it was also not huge slabs, just a nice rough chop. The onions were a bit larger in size than I prefer, but they melted in your mouth so this really wasn't even a factor. The roll was brought in from NYC and stood up very well to the large amount of meat and cheese on this guy. Lastly, they carry cooper sharp cheese which is what I prefer on a cheesesteak. Overall great experience from the sandwich and their dessert selection was so insane I simply had to try something from it. I brought my girlfriend a cannoli (which I snuck a bite of and it was quite good) but I got myself a Pistachio Lobster Tail (Sfogliatelle). Such a delicious flavor and a huge crunch. From start to finish every bite may have been crunchier than the last! The pistachio flavor was balanced nicely in the cream filling and had some more crushed pistachio on top. I would absolutely get this again no matter the cost (but for reference I believe it was $6). Giacomo's Italian Market - Didn't Suck!
